~Highlights from the event~

The Chamber held their second annual Taste of Easton on Tuesday, May 13th at Stonehill College.  Over 600 people attended the event to enjoy sampling the tasty fare offered by over 20 partcipating restaurants.  Guests also took advantage of visiting the 40+ businesses and organizations that participated in the Business Expo!

 

Keith Bumpus of the Wine Guys was the premier sponsor of the event and offered samplings of a wide array of wines.

The Oliver Ames High School Jazz Combo entertained guests.

Neil Levine of Maguire's Bar and Grill accepts the Best Restaurant Award from chamber co-president, Steve Keohane.

Chamber donates $3,000 to the Easton Food Pantry

As a result of the success of the Taste of Easton 2008, the Easton Chamber of Commerce was able to donate $3,000 to the Easton Food Pantry.  The Food Pantry provides food for any Easton resident in need regardless of income.  Pictured above is chamber co-president Dr. Jessica Roan presenting the check to pantry volunteer Maureen Papineau.  Also pictured from left to right are:  pantry volunteers Barbara Walsh, Emily Neary, Fran Mark, Judy Thomas; and chamber board member Darlene Adams.

Attendance at after-hours events are free of charge, and breakfasts are $10 for Easton Chamber members, and $15 for non-members.  Guests may pay at the door.  Credit Cards are not accepted.
